This will be Pete Schoen's 11th season as a volunteer coach in the Clackamas High School baseball program. Pete is a Sam Barlow high school graduate who was a two sport student athlete. As a senior, he was an all league pitcher & infielder for the Bruins. Schoen then attended the University of San Diego where he was a four year member of the nationally ranked baseball team. A two time West Coast Conference scholar-athlete, his playing career concluded during his senior season due to shoulder surgery. Upon relocating to the Clackamas area, Schoen became involved with the Clackamas Hiigh school baseball program. Pete helps the team with video analysis, charting, and other areas as well as being an ace batting practice thrower! An account executive for W..L..Gore Medical Products, Pete and his wife Jenifer have been married 23 years. Their twin 17 year olds, Grant and Grace, will be seen around the diamond throughout the season.
Ryan Kline is in his 11th season at Clackamas High School where he has coached at both the JV and Freshmen levels. Coach Kline has also coached three years at the Senior Federal level in the Clackamas Junior Baseball program. He will again assist on a limited basis with the JV and freshmen teams this year. Ryan will again be the head coach of the Clackamas Junior Baseball Senior Federal team. Kline grew up in Ventura, CA where he played baseball in high school. He graduated with a masters degree in social studies education from Pacific University in 2008. He student taught under Coach Arntson at Clackamas High in 2008 and has been working at the school ever since. He has been a substitute teacher and is now a full time study hall teacher and campus monitor. Ryan has been married to his wife Robin for the past six yearsand they have two beautiful daughters Mae (4) and Ila (3)
