This will be coach Schoen's 10th season as a volunteer coach in the Clackamas High School baseball program. Coach Schoen is a Sam Harlow high school graduate who was a two sport student athlete. As a senior, he was an all league pitcher & infielder for the Bruins. After recruitment by numerous Division 1 programs, Pete attended the University of San Diego where he was a four year member of the nationally ranked baseball team. A two time West Coast Conference scholar-athlete, his playing career included during his senior season due to shoulder surgery. Upon relocating to the Clackamas area, coach Schoen became involved with the CHS baseball program. Focusing on hitters and infielders, he throws BP and helps Coach Bohlman with infielding drills. Their twin 16 year olds, Grant and Grace, will be seen around the diamond throughout the season.
